… and again I have a new favorite zander rod 🙂 It’s not that I don’t like the Fenwick World Class anymore, not at all. I just needed a stronger rod for heavier lures. It turned out that the Kraag SKXF7016-2N not only handles the heavy ones but is fine with the smaller ones. I started to like it so much that I almost stopped using other rods. I can use it with soft lures rigged with both 7g jig heads and 30g jig heads. It’s really wide spectrum but I think it performs the best between 10 and 25 g . What are other pros of this rod? It’s fast and sensitive (as you would expect from a zander rod) but it also has one more very important feature – it works great under a big fish. So, you can easily hook a fish with this fast rod and than it allows you to safely land trophy ones. I like it, I like it very much 🙂
